Firefish Hires Innovation and Strategy Expert in NYC
Strategic insight consultancy Firefish USA has appointed Geri Jacobs as Senior Director, based in its New York office.
The group launched as a qual agency in London in 2000, then added quant division TheNumbersLab a decade later. It also owns a kids and family specialist, The Pineapple Lounge, and an in-house insight films specialist, Firefilms.
Jacobs (pictured) began her MR career at Synovate's consumer psychology specialist Censydiam in Antwerp and London, where she latterly served as Senior Qualitative Research Manager. She then became a Senior Strategic Planner at Publicis-owned Duval Guillaume, before moving to Unilever as Director, Consumer Innovation Experience and Trends Lab Director. More recently she was a Director at global insight agency The Big Picture, and she founded Studio Nomad, which uses 'applied empathy' and design thinking to help brands create connections with the people who buy their products and services.
