MeritB2B Promotes for Group Ops Leader Role
In the US, B2B data, analytics and performance marketing solutions provider MeritB2B has promoted Katherine Giambalvo to the role of Vice President of Operations, with a focus on leading the centralized operation of the group, following its recent takeover of True Influence.
Rye Brook, NY-based MeritB2B, which has a further six offices across the US and UK, offers a database technology platform and analytics services to B2B marketers. In December, the firm acquired data-driven marketing technology company True Influence, which operates InsightBASE - a solution monitoring the online activity of business web site visitors via their corporate domains, so marketers can reach them. The takeover has resulted in a doubling of headcount and an increase in the company's product suite.
Giambalvo (pictured) joined in 2014 as Operations Manager, and most recently served as Senior Manager - Client Services. Earlier, she worked for TechTarget contact data solution Oceanos as Senior Program Manager. In her new role, she will play a central role in growth strategy, initially focusing on leading the transition of the Boston operation into the combined MeritB2B core operation, and she will also be instrumental in building the company's pre-sales Proposal Center.
Giambalvo will work closely with and report to MeritB2B Chief Operating Officer Craig Weiss, who comments: 'I'm thrilled to announce Katherine's promotion across our newly combined organization.
