TAPE Promotes for MD Role as Co-MDs Step Down
In London, programme audience analyst TAPE Consultancy has promoted Beatrice Rossmanith to the role of Managing Director, as existing MDs Paul Youngbluth and John Peek prepare to leave the company in the summer.
Acquired by French audience measurement firm Médiamétrie in 2016, TAPE (Television Audience Programme Evaluation) provides a quantitative system to identify and assess the 'audience appeal' factors within programme content. TAPE is now a full subsidiary of Médiamétrie and its international TV and video market intelligence division Glance (previously known as Eurodata TV Worldwide), which provides official TV ratings for more than 7,000 channels in over 120 territories.
Rossmanith (pictured) joined last September after running her own distribution and partnership consultancy, Scouting Bee Media. Prior to this, she worked for Insight TV as Sales and Co-production Consultant; and she held senior sales roles at Magnify Media, Red Bull Media, Awesomeness, Passion Distribution and Journeyman Pictures. In her new role, she is tasked with expanding and shaping the scope of TAPE's existing services across content markets.
Frédéric Vaulpré, Board member of TAPE Consultancy and Head of International Business Units at Médiamétrie, comments: 'On behalf of Médiamétrie I would like to warmly thank John and Paul for the tremendous work they have done in the last 35 years to create a unique expertise, both in terms of content monitoring and content evaluation. With an extensive background in distribution spanning formats, lifestyle, high-end factual and drama, Rossmanith will bring her in-depth knowledge of content and players to our clients'.
