Rival Adds ESOMAR President Kristin Luck to Board
Rival Group Inc., owner of Rival Technologies and Reach3 Insights, has given current ESOMAR President Kristin Luck a seat on its Board of Directors.
Rival Group was founded four years ago by former Millward Brown Global CEO Eileen Campbell, Vision Critical founder and CEO Andrew Reid and his sister Jennifer Reid, as a 'next-gen' consumer insights engine. Within the group, Rival Technologies offers voice, video and chat research solutions optimized for the 'Mobile First' generation; while Reach3 Insights uses Rival's technology and its own methods to deliver rapid insights at scale.
Luck (pictured) runs her own management consultancy, which guides marketing and analytics firms through all stages of growth. Her previous firm Forefront Consulting Group was acquired by Decipher in 2007, prior to which she helped launch ACNielsen's first online research practice; co-founded OTX (Online Testing Exchange) with partner Shelley Zalis in 2000, and subsequently sold it to Ipsos a decade later. She is also the founder of women's non-profit MR networking group WIRe (Women In Research).
With this addition, Rival Group's Board will comprise seven directors, four of whom are female. Campbell comments: 'We built Rival Group to be a change agent and a disruptor in the research technology and consulting space. I can think of no better individual to help us on this journey than Kristin - we're excited to have her join us at this pivotal time in our growth'.
