Escalent Adds Three to Automotive Insights Practice
In the US, analytics and advisory firm Escalent, formerly Market Strategies International-Morpace, has added three new Vice Presidents to its Automotive Insights and Advisory practice; John Bankes, Daniel Hall and Richard Clarke.
The agency, which combines proprietary data capture methods and technologies with industry expertise and a visualization toolset, was formed when research firms Morpace and Market Strategies International were acquired and merged in 2018 by private equity firm STG (Symphony Technology Group), and then later rebranded. Two years ago, the firm launched a US study called EVForward, to help automotive manufacturers predict the future purchasing behavior of buyers of electric vehicles.
Banks joins as VP of the firm's Commercial Vehicle and Fleet Advisory Solutions team, having previously spent time at Michelin Tire Companies, AT&T and IHS Markit; and Hall has been named VP of Commercial Vehicle and Fleet Research Solutions, leading the Fleet Research team, after serving as VP at AutoPacific. Clarke rejoins Escalent after serving as SVP at data intelligence company Potentiate, before which he was VP, Head of Communities at Escalent, and held senior roles at Vision Critical (now Alida), Synovate, and NOP World Automotive.
Jason Mantel, MD of the Automotive and Mobility practice, comments: ' Each of these leaders strengthens our growing practice as we continue guiding clients through this evolving automotive landscape with unique insights and advisory solutions not available anywhere else in the market. With reputations for transforming insights into action and decades of combined experience, they offer our clients an ever clearer and more confident path forward'.
