Price and Market Intelligence Firm netRivals Acquired
Paris-based eCommerce automation platform Lengow has acquired Barcelona-based price and market intelligence software firm netRivals, which it says will help it shape the 'next generation of digital shelf analytics'. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 2016 by Ivan Ramirez and Salvador Fabregas (pictured), netRivals uses tracking technology and image recognition to analyse pricing and product attributes across more than a billion products from more than 32 thousand stores. Through its proprietary data management system, netRivals offers a '360 degree solution', from data collection to analysis, providing brands and retailers with actionable insights. The firm has clients across the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Australia and the Nordics.
After opening offices in Germany (Munich) and the UK (London) last year, Lengow will now use the acquisition of netRivals to open a new office in Barcelona, Spain. Mickael Froger, CEO of Lengow, says his firm's clients and marketplace partners had been asking for pricing intelligence capabilities alongside the Lengow solution, to activate product data based on market insights.
Ramirez, who is CEO of netRivals, adds: 'Over the last six years, we have built a leading pricing intelligence and market analysis software company. By adding two very competent best-of-breed solutions, we are creating one extremely compelling suite. Together we are on the path to shape the next generation of digital shelf analytics - which is an exciting journey both for us and our international customers'.
