Harkness to Lead Quant at Basis Social

In the UK, social research practice Basis Social has appointed Victoria Harkness as a Senior Director, spearheading its quantitative offering.

Launched last year by Basis Research, the practice focuses on helping clients shape public policy, communications and services. Harkness (pictured) joins after three years at the National Citizen Service Trust, where she oversaw the research and evaluation function. Before this, she worked as a Research Director for both Ipsos MORI and BritainThinks.

A mixed methods specialist, in her new role she will work alongside MRS Young Researcher of the Year Matt Hellon. CEO Darren Bhattachary comments: 'We're absolutely thrilled to welcome Vic to the team. She is a hugely experienced and multi-talented researcher who will provide strategic insight and counsel to clients and colleagues alike'.
