M3 Global Research Buys Germany's pharma-insight

Healthcare specialist M3 Global Research has acquired Germany-based pharma-insight GmbH, which offers a portfolio of MR services to the life sciences industry, including access to a dedicated healthcare panel. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2003 by the Baus family and headquartered in Hilden, Germany, pharma-insight works with target groups across the life sciences and healthcare industries, offering a full range of qual and quant methods. Services can be used to support product development, the design of communications material, audience segmentation initiatives and channel evaluation.

Following the buy, pharma-insight will continue under the stewardship of co-founder Gabi Baus (pictured) and the team, with Guido Baus taking on the role of a consultant to support the firm's integration into the M3 family. The acquisition follows M3's recent acquisition of Sydney, Australia-based fieldwork firm Ekas.
