New Marketing Leader for Acceldata
Data observability specialist Acceldata has appointed former Splunk and Sumo Logic exec Girish Bhat as SVP of Marketing, leading the global marketing team.
Acceldata was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in Palo Alto, CA. Its Data Observability Cloud helps enterprises make their data systems 'stable, agile, and cost efficient', promising 'comprehensive visibility and insight to improve the performance, quality, reliability, and cost of data'.
Bhat was head of Marketing and Product at Bay Area software firm Wave Systems Corp for four years from January 2011 before joining Splunk as Head of Product and Solutions Marketing. He left in 2019 to join MobileIron as VP Marketing, and for the last nearly two years has been VP Marketing at digital experience and security firm Sumo Logic. He holds an MBA from the University of Ottawa and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
In his new role Bhat is responsible for all aspects of growth, corporate communications, branding, digital, product and solutions marketing.
