McNair yellowSquares Buys Qualitative Recruitment Australia
In Australia, market and social research agency McNair yellowSquares has acquired focus group recruitment agency Qualitative Recruitment Australia (QRA), for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2004 by ResearchMinds MD Mike Beder (pictured), QRA recruits consumers, business people and medical and healthcare personnel for paid market research. Clients include local and international full-service and specialist MR agencies, independent researchers, ad agencies, marketing consultancies, Government departments and client companies, in both the consumer and business sectors.
Both organisations have been operating in Australian and international markets for more than twenty years, and QRA will now support McNair yellowSquares' quant and qual solutions, including the surveyVillage panel; specialist panels, SurveyMob, SurveyCulture and Blokevote; and the MySpeak platform for online qualitative research. The deal follows the 2017 merger of McNair Ingenuity Research and yellowSquares.
Beder, who remains MD of ResearchMinds Global, will serve QRA in an advisory capacity for six months to ensure a smooth transition. McNair yellowSquares MD Angela Brooks comments: 'Acquiring QRA is a perfect fit for us, bringing complementary recruitment capabilities to provide a fully balanced research solution to enhance our qualitative offering'.
