TransPerfect Expands to Dominican Republic
New York-based language and tech solutions provider TransPerfect has opened a 300-seat contact center in Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic.
TransPerfect has offices in over 100 cities, and offers a range of services in 200 languages. In 2019, the company acquired a minority stake in market research sector language specialist G3 Translate, whose offering includes translation, interpretation and cultural consulting. More recently, it opened a contact center in El Paso, Texas, which will act as the hub for its Connect division, including over-the-phone interpretation and business process outsourcing.
Steven Cheeseman (pictured), VP of Contact Center Operations, comments: 'Our commitment to Santo Domingo and the Dominican Republic comes as the result of a stringent selection process.
