YouGov Expands with New Mexico City Office
Online research, data and analytics tech firm YouGov has expanded in Latin America with the opening of an office in Mexico City, serving the research needs of brands and agencies in the region and providing operational support for the firm's work across the Americas.
In Latin America, YouGov has about 1.5 million panellists, while its flagship BrandIndex product runs in six countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru), and its Profiles solution is available across four markets (Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico). Last year, David Eastman (pictured) joined as LATAM Managing Director, after working at Nielsen as Digital Solutions Leader, Brazil.
The company currently has three Centres of Excellence (CENX) in India and a further one in Romania, all under the charge of Chief Business Operations Officer Lynda Vivian, and Global Head of CENX, Yashwin Pangal. Mexico City will be YouGov's fifth CENX and the first in the Americas, with an initial headcount of 30, which is expected to double within a year.
COO Sundip Chahal comments: 'Latin America has long been a growth region for our clients and with the Mexico City office, our footprint will only increase. YouGov's living data is the best in the world, providing a live and detailed view of people's attitudes and behaviour'.
