Senior Hires for Gambling Intell Firm Future Anthem
Gambling sector intelligence provider Future Anthem has appointed former William Hill exec Ian Tibot as Chief Product Officer, and added Julie Haddon to its Board as a Non-Executive Director.
The company provides intelligence to global clients including casinos and game studios, and claims to 'humanise data' via a product called Amplifier AI, allowing clients to personalise in real time, optimise games while engaging players, and enhance customer experience. Behind this sits Anthemetrics, a behavioural data set for casinos which is said to comprise 172 billion customer transactions and 250 million hours of customer engagement data. A month ago, it announced an undisclosed amount of Series A funding, intended for product investment and for growth, including a launch in North America with a focus on sports betting.
Haddon most recently served as SVP, Global Brand and Consumer Marketing at the National Football League (NFL), where she spent five years; and she has held senior roles at and/or consulted for PayPal, Twitter, eBay, DreamWorks, SoFi and Zynga. The Board already includes company founder and CEO Leigh Nissim and NED Oliver Hansard, former dunnhumby and Liberty Global executive.
Tibot spent nine years at William Hill, responsible for the bookmaker's sportsbook platform as Head of Product. Earlier he headed international product development for gaming and sports, leading more than 100 team members in three European locations.
CEO Nissim (pictured) comments: 'Bringing Julie and Ian into the business is a real statement of intent. They are transformational appointments that will enhance our ways of working and are key to realising our expansion plans following our recent investment. Julie's invaluable Brand and Marketing leadership experience at blue-chip international technology, media and sports organisations will significantly accelerate our roll-out in North America and we now a have a fantastic, well-balanced board with hugely relevant knowledge in a number of key areas. Ian's background fuels our momentum in sports betting - with his addition allowing Future Anthem to lead the charge in personalisation in this area, as we make additional R&D investment to capitalise on the opportunity in sport'.
The firm plans further hires for its product team, and the appointment of a GM for North America.
