GfK Hires MRI-Simmons' Bhaumik for Global Director Role
In New York, GfK has named former MRI-Simmons exec Ishan Bhaumik Global Account Director (GAD) for Amazon and other digital accounts.
Formed in 2019 by GfK MRI and Simmons Research, MRI-Simmons focuses on consumer insights, media profiling and trends analysis. Bhaumik (pictured) joins after serving as Head of Advanced TV/Data Partnerships at MRI-Simmons, closing new data agreements, and renewing existing ones. He previously held senior business development roles at Samba TV, TubeMogul (acquired by Adobe in 2016), and Visible Measures. Additionally, from 2008 to 2011, he was a Sales Specialist at Microsoft, and more recently, he co-founded phone-motion sensor data provider Velocity.
