R/GA's Peltoniemi Named Accenture Song SEA MD
Accenture's interactive customer experience and analytics business Accenture Song has hired former R/GA exec Tuomas Peltoniemi as Managing Director, Go-to-Market & Client Service, for Southeast Asia.
Accenture Song (previously known as Accenture Interactive) combines human and business insights with technology to help clients design, launch and scale new products, services and customer / employee experiences.
Peltoniemi (pictured) joins from ad and digital transformation agency R/GA, where as EVP and MD APAC he led offices in Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne, Tokyo, Shanghai, and the firm's tech hub in Indonesia. Prior to this he spent seven years at TBWA\Group Singapore, latterly as President, Asia, Digital Arts Network; having earlier been responsible for the agency's digital arm. Earlier he worked at digital production agency !NOOB Digital as MD, Partner; at Zimmerman Advertising as an Account Executive; and at TBWA\Helsinki as Technical Designer.
At Accenture Song, Peltoniemi will be responsible for shaping the company's growth strategy in Southeast Asia. In a LinkedIn post, he commented: 'After leading R/GA across APAC for the past few years, I'm excited to be taking on a new challenge, joining Thomas Mouritzen and the talented team at Accenture Song in Southeast Asia. I'm looking forward to the journey'.
