Funds for Data-driven Influencer Program Smartfluence
In New York, influencer marketing platform Smartfluence has raised $2.15m in a seed round of funding, which it will use to enhance its proprietary influencer automation software, and accelerate customer expansion.
Smartfluence uses a quantitative analytical approach to help brands and social media influencers engage with each other. Its platform enables brands to automate and scale their influencer marketing programs through its proprietary data-driven algorithms, which enable brands to understand influencer audiences through metrics such as audience credibility scores, brand and interest affinities, audience demographics, and estimated pricing. Customers range from eCommerce stores to enterprises looking to scale their influencer discovery.
New funding has been led by PACA Ventures, whose Principals, Ira Lubert and Jo Webber, will be joining Smartfluence's Board of directors. David Ko, CEO and co-founder of Smartfluence, comments: 'Smartfluence being added to PACA Ventures' portfolio of innovative technology brands is a great honor. Ira, Jo and the rest of the team are the perfect partners as they have insight into the market segment and deep experience with visionary companies transforming in this space.'
