Ads on Wheels Launches AMPED OOH Impression Measure
In Australia, mobile out-of-home (OOH) company Ads on Wheels has launched an impression measurement tool called AMPED.
Ads on Wheels pays around 30,000 drivers to advertise products and services on their vehicles, and allows clients to measure their ad campaigns in real time via a portal, which delivers kilometres driven, heat maps, and estimated impressions. The firm collects GPS data to ensure maximum reach and frequency of each campaign zone, and coverage includes six cities and more than 400 regional communities.
Director and co-founder Daniel Schoonderwoerd says the firm's new AMPED solution enables the measurement of 'real impression reporting' from close proximity to the vehicles, to understand who has been exposed to clients' transit advertising. With the firm's product suite, its team can track device ID's that come within a 'visibility cone' surrounding the vehicle, and retarget that exposed audience through digital display. Schoonderwoerd adds: 'There's no other media company offering the same sophisticated tracking, retargeting and attribution studies all in one; at scale, and Australia Wide'.
