IFF Research Adds Four New Directors
In the UK, full-service agency IFF Research has appointed Hilary Burkitt, Sarah Cheesbrough, Daniel Pearmain and Jagjit Dosanjh-Elton as Directors in its London office. Dosanjh-Elton has been named the company's first Chief Financial Officer.
IFF, which began as a B2B specialist in 1965, now boasts expertise in sectors including learning and skills; higher education; employment and benefits; financial services; professional services; health and wellbeing; and social housing. Burkitt joins after nearly a decade at Shelter UK, where she served as Head of Research. Before this, she was Head of Strategic Research at Affinity Sutton, and a Strategic Analyst at the Central Office of Information, having earlier been a Senior Research Consultant at TNS NFO. In her new role, Burkitt will head up IFF's Housing division.
Cheesbrough joins from BritainThinks, where she served as an Associate Partner, having previously led NatCen's Communities, Work and Income department; and Kantar Public UK's policy research offer across Whitehall and the public sector. Pearmain, who has more than fifteen years' experience in mixed methods social research, most recently served as Head of Policy and Research at the People's Health Trust, before which he worked for the Community Development Foundation as Research and Insights Manager. Finally, Dosanjh-Elton joins with a twenty-year background across a broad range of sectors, including seven years as Financial Controller at The Economist, and nearly a decade as CFO at professional services provider Gemserv.
MD Jan Shury comments: 'Our four new Directors all bring significant experience and expertise which we'll hugely benefit from. But, equally important, they're all a great fit for the team and our culture, reflecting our values and the collaborative way we work'.
