Former SurveyMonkey Exec Takes New Role at Act-On
Act-On Software, which uses customer behavior, preferences and data to guide engagement strategies, has hired former SurveyMonkey exec Jeffrey Coleman for the newly created role of Chief Customer Officer. He is based in Portland, Oregon.
From its offices in the US and UK, Act-On Software helps marketers to engage targets at every stage of the customer lifecycle. Features cover areas such as marketing automation, CRM integration, marketing segmentation, and sales intelligence ROI reporting.
Coleman (pictured) joins from customer interaction data engine Clearbit, where he served as Chief Customer Officer. Before this he spent more than seven years at SurveyMonkey, latterly as VP of Customer Success, and he worked for communications solutions firm Jive as Senior Director of Professional Services.
Commenting on the appointment, CEO Kate Johnson said: 'This is a new role for us at Act-On and reflects our continued focus on the success of our customers. Jeff has an extensive background in customer success and I'm confident he will help us elevate the experience we provide to our customers'.
