Contentsquare Debuts Web Site Speed Impact Measure
Digital experience analytics firm Contentsquare has launched a new capability, called Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM), which allows businesses to better understand the impact of web site speed on customer experience and conversions, and improve web site performance.
Contentsquare's AI-powered platform provides contextual insight into customer behavior, feelings and intent - at every touchpoint in their journey, and its insights power the customer experience on over one million web sites worldwide. The firm's new DEM capability combines both 'Speed Analysis Synthetic' and 'Real User Monitoring' (RUM) to give brands a diagnosis of speed and user interaction, including 'Core Web Vital' metrics.
DEM is part of the company's Find & Fix product offering, which quantifies the revenue impact of each second of page load; understands the technical root cause of conversion issues; and assists in spotting, validating, quantifying and retargeting users who experience issues. The firm says that its combination of Speed Analysis RUM, Synthetic Monitoring, and digital experience demonstrates how web performance is at the conjunction of business and IT. According to Contentsquare, Synthetic Monitoring has multiple benefits, allowing users to monitor site speed over time and to benchmark the performance of their web site against their competitors.
Damien Jubeau (pictured), Senior Product Manager, comments: 'Speed Analysis RUM is the perfect way to quantify how a slow site or improved performance affects not only customer behavior but digital growth. It allows brands to detect unsuspected performance bottlenecks and surface opportunities for optimization and to limit negative impact on revenue. Synthetic Monitoring, because it is fully configurable and stable over time, is perfect for establishing a baseline and benchmarking your speed to competing sites.'
