New Leader for Cassandra's Young Consumer Study
New York-based consumer trend insights business Cassandra has hired Claire Richland as Manager of its syndicated young consumer study, the Cassandra Report.
Owned by ad tech and data company Big Village (previously known as Engine), Casandra provides trend forecasting, research, strategy and marketing services that drive consumer product and content innovation. Its Cassandra Report has been providing data on emerging trends and youth behavior, as well as generational insights, for two decades.
Richland (pictured) joins from cultural trends specialist Talk to Jess, where she served as Manager, Cultural Insights, developing marcoms skills to gain an understanding of what types of Gen Z and Gen Alpha insights are most valuable to marketers. Earlier she spent twelve years at film and entertainment marketing agency Think Jam, latterly as Director of Client Services; and she was an Account Manager at Yahoo!
In her new role, Richland will help lead Gen Z and Gen Alpha research initiatives. Specifically, she will be responsible for developing research topic ideas, analyzing quant and qual data, and researching trends among young consumers to author Cassandra's monthly data report.
She reports directly to VP Chanon Cook, who comments: 'Claire is an innovative marketing professional with more than twenty years of expertise in youth-culture-focused marketing, project management, and social media management - all with a lens on being culturally aware and fluent in today's trends and insights. With her creativity and her attention to detail, we know that Claire is truly an asset to our team who will help take Cassandra to new heights in terms of research and insights'.
