The Big Picture Names Joint MDs
London-based design research agency The Big Picture (TBP) has promoted Chris Aukett and Laura Pereira to serve as Joint Managing Directors. Former MD John Cassidy becomes company Chairman.
 From offices in London and New York, TBP applies design thinking and behavioural theory to develop 'human-centred' solutions for brands and businesses. Aukett joined thirteen years ago as an SRE, and most recently served as Business Development Director. He began his career as a Product Designer at Danjam Toys. Pereira joined in 2019 as Head of Quant, after ten years at Basis, most recently as a Research Director focused on quant. Earlier she worked as a Research Manager in Synovate's Brand and Communications team.
Cassidy, who is stepping back from day-to-day operations, will continue to provide the team with guidance and strategic thinking. He comments: 'With almost three decades at The Big Picture, I can say it's been a privilege to be part of an agency that's tackling business-critical design challenges for some of the world's biggest brands. Having worked with Chris for thirteen years and Laura for almost four, I am confident we have two amazing leaders at the helm to navigate the business successfully into the next phase'.
