Telecoms Research Merger
US telecoms analyst Technology Research Institute is to merge into Dittberner Associates, Inc., a management consulting firm specializing in telecoms market and technology assessments.
TRI specialises in tracking telecom OSS/BSS (Operations... and Business Support systems) trends and was established in 1994.
According to Dittberner CEO Lilian Tau, 'This merger will bring together complementary products, extensive channels, and first-rate consulting organizations into a company that will lead the OSS/BSS market research and consulting industry. The addition of TRI's know-how and experience in the OSS/BSS segment are essential to our future growth plans'.
Dan Baker, TRI's founder and now Dittberner's OSS Research Director, says TRI was persuaded by Dittberner's 'one-of-a-kind interactive database of OSS on-line information', the Dittberner OSS/BSS Knowledgebase TM.
