More Funds for UK-based Consumer Insights Firm Vypr
Manchester, UK-based consumer insights business Vypr has raised an additional £3.4m, which it will use to scale its product intelligence platform and consumer app, and invest in its commercial and product teams.
Vypr's cloud-based product intelligence platform, which provides insight into 'what customers want to see on the shelves', uses a combination of behavioural science and a consumer panel to test everything from packaging, pricing and naming to product claims and ranging. Early last year, the firm appointed former Cint exec Richard Thornton to its Board, following a £2.5m investment from YFM Equity Partners.
Of the new investment £3m comes from YFM, with the balance from Vypr's management team, existing shareholders and Chairman Richard Law. CEO Kevin Baldwin says of the news: 'We are delighted YFM has followed up its 2021 investment to help us achieve our ambitious growth plan over the next few years. The funding will bolster our commercial functions, building on the strong ARR growth achieved since 2021 and the significant improvement in renewal rates - an indication our clients are delighted with the insight Vypr brings'.
