C Space Hires New HR Leader
Online community specialist C Space has appointed Iraisa Jones as Global Chief People Officer (CPO), replacing Phil Burgess who has left after eleven years to start a new venture.
 A part of Interbrand Group, C Space provides clients with tailored customer programs including private online communities, in-person live events, visual storytelling, co-creation workshops and business consulting. The firm operates from offices in London, New York, Tokyo, San Francisco and Mexico City. Jones (pictured), who is based in New York, joins the firm's global executive leadership team from eSports and tech company Vindex, where she served as VP of Human Resources, leading the development of the HR function, including infrastructure and policies to increase employee performance. Before this she was a member of the leadership team at the American Cancer Society, focused on driving organizational and cultural transformations with a focus on improving recruitment, diversity, inclusivity and equity.
In her new post, Jones replaces Burgess, who joined in 2011 as Consultancy Director, later moved into the position of Joint MD (EMEA), then relocated to the US to oversee HR, talent acquisition, people operations, and learning and development, before his promotion to Global CPO last year. On LinkedIn, Burgess says he has taken time out to travel the US with his family, relocate back to the UK, and start a new business.
