Nepa Names New Chief Financial Officer
Stockholm, Sweden-based brand tracking and consumer science specialist Nepa has appointed Sonja Thorngren as Chief Financial Officer, following the recent resignation of Ann-Christine Fick. Thorngren will join the company and the group management team on 6th February next year.
Nepa, which also has offices in Norway, Finland, Denmark, the UK, the USA and India, combines proprietary technology and expert local services, integrating consumer feedback and behavioural data to help clients in more than 50 countries optimize customer experience and marketing investments. Thorngren (pictured) joins after serving as CFO and Deputy CEO at electrical vehicle charging technology developer ChargePanel. She has more than fifteen years of financial experience gained at both international and privately held Swedish companies including Elite Hotels, Whirlpool and Hilton.
Thorngren, who will report to CEO Ulrich Boyer, takes over from Fick, who resigned in September for 'personal reasons'. Current Head of Accounting Elin Nordholm will assume the role of Deputy CFO after Fick's departure, until Thorngren takes office. Boyer comments: 'We are delighted to welcome Sonja Thorngren to Nepa. With her extensive experience and financial competence, she will be able to contribute positively to the company's stability and continued development'.
