Funds for Data Collection Firm Rep Data
In New Orleans, full-service data collection firm Rep Data has announced the closing of a $6.25m Series A round of funding, and says it will continue the rapid expansion of its team.
Founded in 2020, the company is led by former execs from companies including Qualtrics, FocusVision, Lucid and Dynata, and aims to make the research process 'efficient, accurate and reliable' via 'a hyper-focus on data quality and consistent execution'. It has already grown its team to 43 people, serving 350 clients worldwide, and in February it launched a proprietary screening technique to screen out bots and automated scripts in surveys.
Rep Data founder and CEO Patrick Stokes (pictured) comments: 'This funding allows us to continue investing in premium talent, and truly put our money where our mouth is as we continue to lead data collection practices in the market research space. We will be making further investments to boost data quality, building a protective layer between survey panels and live survey opportunities, plus addressing other pivotal needs in the industry for reliable, consistent service and expert collaboration'.
The round was led by Austin, Texas-based Recurring Capital Partners, whose MD Bradley McBride says his firm is 'thrilled to partner with a first-class management team as the company increasingly leverages technology alongside decades of industry experience to create a true market leader in the market research space'.
The company is online at www.repdata.com .
