Kantar Public Names Population Studies Leader

In the UK, Kantar Public has appointed former ONS exec Ed Dunn as Senior Director in Population Studies.

Kantar Public is a global consulting and research business providing public policy services to the public and private sectors. The business was recently sold to pan-European private equity firm Trilantic Europe, and is now establishing itself as an independent company.

Dunn (pictured) joins from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), where he held a number of senior roles including Head of Social Survey Division, leading a transformation in the way ONS conducts social survey research. More recently he was responsible for the statistical design and production of the 2021 Census. During his career, Dunn also served as Deputy Head of the Government Social Research (GSR) service, leading and supporting the work of more than 2,000 social researchers across the government.
