Investment for Non-profit Data Platform VeraData
VeraData, which offers a data science platform for donor acquisition and reactivation in the non-profit sector, has raised a 'significant' investment from private equity firm Beringer Capital, for investment in 'talent, capabilities, and technology'.
Florida-based VeraData has developed a donor analytics and predictive modeling engine which collects first- and third-party permissioned data, compiled from hundreds of sources and more than one billion consumer records. The firm's Descriptive Analytics Summary Report (DAS) delivers insights into a client's file and identifies current successes as well as indicators for future risks or opportunities; while its Prescriptix solution evaluate decades of data on individual transactional, demographic and psychographic behavior.
The investment comes from Beringer, which focuses on the media, marketing services, and tech sectors. Michael Peterman (pictured), founder and CEO of VeraData, comments: 'We are thrilled to join forces with Beringer Capital to propel expansion of our predictive modelling and machine learning platform and drive continued scale and impact for our NFP clients and their causes'.
