New MD for Insights Family as Founder Moves Roles
Kids, teens, parents and family market intelligence provider The Insights Family has appointed Clive Maudsley as Managing Director, replacing Will Pearce, who had held the position for less than a year. Meanwhile founder Nick Richardson is stepping down from as CEO to focus on specific areas.
Founded by Richardson in 2017, Manchester-based The Insights Family operates across six continents and 22 countries, surveying more than 750,000 family members every year. Maudsley (pictured) joins after a decade serving as Financial Director and Company Secretary to a large number of associated family-owned companies. Before this he held senior roles including CFO at international distribution company MWheels, Finance Director at chemical research outsourcing firm Peakdale Molecular, and Partner at Baker Tilly.
In his new role, Maudsley will lead all day-to-day operations and oversee the delivery of an 'ambitious international growth plan'. He takes over from Pearce, who became the company's first MD at the end of last year, and whose next career move has not yet been announced. Richardson will now focus on overseeing the company's marketing, product and innovation efforts.
Commenting on the news, Richardson said: 'We are very proud of the consistent triple digit growth we have achieved since our inception but, for this to be sustainable moving forward, we needed to take stock and review all aspects of our business. Bringing experienced leaders into our business is something we are 100% committed to and I am delighted to welcome Clive to The Insights Family, enabling me to focus on finding new ways that our data and insights can be used to drive ROI across our clients' businesses'.
