Cynthia Pachovski Named CEO of Ipsos Canada

Cynthia Pachovski has been formally named Chief Executive Officer of Ipsos Canada, following the retirement of Gary Bennewies earlier in the year.

Pachovski (pictured) re-joined Ipsos two years ago as President of its Market Strategy and Understanding division, before which, she led the Nielsen Consumer Insights and Nielsen Media Digital Divisions in Canada. Earlier, she was General Manager for Ipsos France and the French overseas territories, and more recently, she stepped in as interim CEO in Canada, following Bennewies' retirement after nearly four decades with the company.

She will report to Lorenzo Larini, CEO, Ipsos North America, who comments: 'Cynthia is an extremely effective leader. Picking up from the strong position which Canada achieved through the second quarter, performance under Cynthia's leadership has continued to grow.
