IAB Names Research, Insights and Strategy Leaders

The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) has appointed Jack Koch as SVP Research and Insights and Pam Zucker as SVP, Chief Strategy Officer. Additionally, Chris Bruderle's role has been expanded and he now has the title VP, Industry Insights and Content Strategy.

Jack KochNew York-based IAB develops industry standards, conducts research and provides legal support for the online ad industry. In 2023, its Research & Insights team will focus on initiatives including ad spending related to gaming, podcasting and video, and the organization will enhance its Centers of Excellence (COE), and Research & Insights programs, while relaunching the Measurement, Addressability & Data (MAD) Center, previously known as the Programmatic+Data Center.

Koch (pictured) joins after four years at Reddit, latterly as Global Head of Marketing Sciences. Prior to this he worked for Spotify as Global Director, Head of Advertiser Research & Measurement; LinkedIn as Head of Audience Research; and Electronics Arts as Director, Global Marketing Insights. He has also held positions at AT&T AdWorks, Microsoft Advertising, Digitas and IBM. Zucker previously held senior roles at Starcom Mediavest, including President, Experience at Mediavest | Spark, having begun her career at DMB&B, which later became Mediavest.

In his new role, Koch is responsible for all research-related initiatives and overseeing strategic direction and output of products such as the annual IAB PWC Advertising Spend and Revenue Research. Zucker will support the creation of industry guidelines, standards and marketplace education, for connecting and building relationships with members across the advertising landscape, and for directing the other IAB COEs.

Bruderle takes on the expanded role after nearly four years at IAB, and will work closely with its COEs and Tech Lab, to create industry education for brands, agencies, publishers and ad tech participants. He was previously IAB's VP, Research & Insights, having earlier held research and analytics roles at The Daily Beast and Conde Nast.
