Prescient Healthcare Names New CEO
In London, biopharma product strategy consultancy Prescient Healthcare Group has promoted Dr Debasish Talukdar to the role of Chief Executive Officer, as founder Jamie Denison-Pender moves into a new position focused on corporate development and M&A.
Prescient's suite of offerings provides support for a range of pharma functions, including medical affairs, clinical development, early commercial, global marketing, competitive intelligence and market research. Earlier this year, the company acquired Strategic North, which partners with pharma companies to help them understand customer decision-making.
Dr Talukdar (pictured) joined Prescient in 2018 and has spent the past five years in senior leadership roles that involved building the medical affairs practice and further expanding the firm's global presence. Earlier, he spent a decade with Bain & Company, where he was a leader in the healthcare practice, having begun his career as a physician, working in the US, EU, UK, India and Singapore.
Denison-Pender comments: 'Prescient is at an exciting stage of our journey with our long-term vision fast becoming a reality. I am delighted to hand over the reins to Debasish, whom I respect and admire enormously. I know he will lead Prescient to achieve bigger and better things'.
The firm, which has nearly 500 employees and ten offices across the US, Europe and Asia, is online at www.prescienthg.com .
