dentsu Adds Aus Data Firm Aware Services to Merkle
In Australia, marcoms group dentsu has acquired data and analytics provider Aware Services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Sydney-based Aware Services is a Salesforce, MuleSoft and Tableau partner, and employs a team of professionals specialising in data platform modernisation, analytics, data science and information governance. The consultancy also provides reporting and visualisation services, to enable users to present relevant data to drive business performance.
The acquired firm will join dentsu's data-driven CXM company Merkle, bolstering the latter's Salesforce and data and analytics practices. Following the takeover, the business will be known as 'Aware Services, a Merkle Company' for a brief period, after which the staff and leadership will be fully integrated into the Merkle team.
John Riccio (pictured), CEO Merkle ANZ and APAC, comments: 'At Merkle, we are constantly looking at how we can be the best partner to solve real business challenges, today and tomorrow. Having strong data and analytics capabilities sits at the heart of this, and we couldn't be more excited to be growing our team with 115 new talented people who are craft specialists in this space'.
