New Splatter Tool Collects Data at Retail Outlets
Manchester, UK-based experiential field marketing agency Splatter Connect has launched a tool called FIELD CONNECT, which can be used to collect data in real time from field visits to retail outlets.
Splatter Connect, which is part of games distributor PLAION (previously known as Koch Media), offers live event management services, including field marketing services spanning retail store attendance and experiential advertising. The firm says FIELD CONNECT enables real-time, location-based reporting through user-assisted mobile phones, digitizing management of field staff.
William Slater, Technical Director and co-founder of Splatter Connect, comments: 'We developed a bespoke tool to simplify field marketing and optimise the process, using technology we use in our everyday lives which everyone has access to. FIELD CONNECT enables real-time reporting with no delay, and by encouraging field staff to upload their store images, we have a UGC (User Generated Content) reporting platform'.
