In the US, B2B technology purchasing intent data provider TechTarget has promoted EVP Rebecca Kitchens to the role of President, while Steve Niemiec has added the title of COO to his existing role as Chief Revenue Officer.
TechTarget offers access to 150 enterprise technology-specific web sites and a broad range of custom advertising, branding, lead generation and sales enablement solutions, to attract communities of tech buyers researching their companies' IT needs. The firm currently has offices in Boston, London, Munich, New York, Paris, Singapore and Sydney.
Kitchens joined nearly 21 years ago, and has since held senior roles including SVP & Group Publisher, responsible for editorial, audience development and sales of the firms Datacenter, Storage, Virtualization, Cloud and End User Computing divisions. More recently she was EVP and Publisher, overseeing the editorial, audience marketing and publishing efforts behind TechTarget's purchase intent data. In her new role, she will oversee market development, segment marketing, editorial, audience and SEO, customer strategy and enablement, customer success and product operations, while continuing to head TechTarget's Enterprise Strategy Group division.
Niemiec joined in 2003, and before his last position as Chief Revenue Officer was the company's SVP of Global Sales, responsible for strategic planning, sales growth and customer success. Following the promotion he will oversee sales strategy, development, enablement and operations, as well as corporate marketing.
CEO Michael Cotoia says the appointments 'will help [the firm] to capitalize on the right opportunities, scale the business, streamline our processes and strategically align our resources for maximum impact'. He adds: 'I am incredibly confident in Rebecca and Steve's abilities to lead TechTarget's next period of growth'.
