Futurum Buys CX Sector Researcher Dash Network

In the US, industry research firm The Futurum Group has acquired B2B research, media, and advisory business Dash Network, which offers market analysis and insights for the customer experience (CX) sector. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Launched in 2021 by Pike Research founder Clint Wheelock and former Light Reading MD Jonathan Keller (pictured), Dash Network provides research and advisory services, news and analysis, media and go-to-market services, along with virtual and live events for customer experience (CX) practitioners. The firm's team of journalists and industry analysts conduct qual and quant analysis focused on seven market segments: contact center technologies, customer data and analytics, customer data platforms, customer insights and feedback, customer relationship management (CRM), personalization and optimization, and employee experience (EX).

Under the terms of the agreement, The Futurum Group has acquired a majority interest in Dash Network, and Dash will operate as a unit under The Futurum Group structure, alongside the recently acquired tech-focused strategy, research, and advisory analyst firm Wainhouse Research and tech research and advisory company Evaluator Group. Shelly Kramer, co-founder and Principal Analyst at The Futurum Group, says that Dash Network's expertise in all things customer experience adds 'significant value' to her company's suite of offerings and capabilities.

Wheelock adds: 'Companies in the enterprise software market are demanding a different kind of insight and advice than what is available from incumbent research and media firms. As part of The Futurum Group, we plan to expand our scope beyond CX into some of the most exciting and game-changing growth sectors in the industry.'
