Cambiar Hires Kahren Kersten as Equity Partner

US-based MR industry change management consultancy Cambiar has appointed Kahren Kersten as an Equity Partner, thereby expanding its offer to include UX, design and innovation agencies and functions.

Cambiar was launched in 2004 by ex-Chairman and CEO of Roper Starch Worldwide Jay Wilson and former NOP leader Simon Chadwick; and offers strategic consulting, power skills training and M&A advisory services to insights and ResTech providers.

Kersten (pictured) joins with fifteen years' industry experience, spanning senior agency, client and consulting roles, in both the US and UK. She has been an independent consultant for Cambiar for the past six years, having previously served as a User Research & Journey Mapping Specialist at digital transformation agency Catapult CX; worked as Insight Director at media planning agency Vizeum UK, and spent five years at BrainJuicer (now System 1 Research), managing NPD client-facing work and internal R&D to improve existing products. During her career, she has also worked at MarketCast, Research International and GfK.

In her new role, Kersten will build on her expertise in team effectiveness and organizational design in the context of research companies and CI functions.
