GroupM Announces Long-Awaited EssenceMediacom Launch
WPP's media investment wing GroupM has announced the long-awaited launch of its new agency EssenceMediacom, comprised of 10,000 people across 120 offices globally.
EssenceMediacom has been formed from the merger of data and measurement-driven media agency Essence and media network MediaCom. According to GroupM, the new agency will 'disrupt the old models' - combining Essence's performance, data, analytics and creative technology offer, with MediaCom's multichannel audience planning and media expertise. Everything will be underpinned by EMOS; EssenceMediacom's Operating System, which offers a suite of tools and data to connect Essence, MediaCom and GroupM technology.
