AppNexus Founder Joins LiveRamp Board
Brian O'Kelley, the co-founder of ad targeting tech specialist AppNexus, has been appointed to the Board of data collaboration platform LiveRamp.
US-based LiveRamp helps clients integrate, manage and activate their data to improve customer experience and business outcomes. O'Kelley (pictured) is currently CEO of supply chain emissions data provider Scope3. He previously co-founded AppNexus, and was the company's CEO and Chairman through its $1.6 bn sale to AT&T in 2018. Before this he co-founded Waybridge, a supply-chain platform for commodities, and he was the CTO of Right Media (later sold to Yahoo!).
Commenting on the appointment, LiveRamp CEO Scott Howe said: 'Brian is an innovator in data science and programmatic advertising, with a deep understanding of the advertising technology ecosystem. I know he will be a strong advocate and advisor as we continue to empower our customers to build enduring brand and business value by collaborating responsibly with data'.
