SEEK Founder to Retire, PeGan Takes President's Role

Tim Urmston, the founder and President of US-based qualitative insights and innovation consultancy SEEK Company, is to retire at the end of March, when Courtney PeGan will take over the role.

Urmston set up SEEK in 2000 after serving as a Product Researcher at P&G. The firm is now part of insights and analytics group Directions Inc., which offers qual, quant and management consulting solutions via three brands - Directions, SEEK Company, and agri-food value chain intelligence firm Aimpoint Research.

PeGan (pictured), who also began her career at P&G, joined SEEK as an Account Director in 2010, and has since served in a number of leadership roles, including COO, and most recently SVP of Operations. Commenting on the news, Urmston said: 'I know that SEEK is in great hands with Courtney at the helm and will continue to thrive well into the future under her visionary and vigilant eye. I'm moving on to my next adventure with tremendous gratitude for every person who has brought their full selves to work and made their mark on SEEK and me personally'.
