Savanta Adds Two to Board
Savanta has promoted Danielle Rodriguez to Chief Commercial Officer and Mark Martins to Chief Services Officer, both with seats on the firm's global Board and both retaining existing roles and responsibilities in addition.
Martins (pictured below) co-founded MR software and solutions firm thinqonline in 2014, and joined Savanta's parent group Next15 when it acquired the company in July 2018, becoming SVP Operations and then Savanta's Americas EVP in 2021, based in Toronto. Earlier he was Director of Operations, Americas at Research Now, after roles at Ipsos and Millward Brown. Following the promotion he will retain his roles as Head of Americas operations and Asia Pacific General Manager.
Rodriguez (pictured above) joined Savanta in London in 2017 and has held a variety of sales and commercial operational leadership roles. Earlier she held commercial leadership roles at YouGov, LexisNexis and Thomson Reuters. With the promotion to CCO, she continues in her role as Next 15's Group Revenue Growth Director, which she has held since April 2020.
'When promoting individuals to the global board, it is essential to consider their skills, experience, and expertise. The board should have a diverse range of perspectives, backgrounds, and skills to provide a well-rounded approach to decision-making and Danielle and Mark epitomize those traits'. Says Savanta Global CEO, Roger Perowne. 'Commitment to the organization's values and vision are key for Savanta to succeed and Mark and Danielle are vital to this'.
