Accenture Song Hires Global Capabilities Head
In New York, CX and analytics business Accenture Song has hired former R/GA leader Sean Lyons, in a new role heading up its global capabilities. He takes up the position in May.
Accenture Song - previously known as Accenture Interactive - combines human and business insights with technology to deliver a systematic approach to designing, launching and scaling new products, services and customer / employee experiences. Lyons (pictured) joins from innovation consultancy and product and design agency R/GA, where he worked for more than seven years, latterly as Global CEO. Before this he was Global Chief Digital Officer and Managing Partner at Havas Worldwide, and during his first stint at R/GA he served as SVP Operations & Business Planning.
In his newly created role, Lyons is tasked with further integrating Accenture Song's design, technology, communications and intelligence capabilities, across all areas of the business and client offerings. He will report to CEO David Droga, who comments: 'Sean is a formidable force and someone I have admired professionally for a long time. He's as talented and relevant as he is humble and sincere. We are beyond thrilled to have him join us and excited to see what he can do at the world's largest tech-powered creative company'.
