MRBA Launches 2023 Auction
Bidding is open now for the annual auction run by UK industry charity the Market Research Benevolent Association (MRBA). The event will run until 9pm on Thursday 23rd March.
Founded in 1977, the MRBA is the sector's only registered, independent UK charity, funded entirely by donations, and lending its support to those who have worked in the industry and are facing financial difficulties. It also set up the MRBA Skills bursary scheme to help younger researchers, and those new to the industry, to take the MRS' Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research.
The auction is one of the charity's key fundraising activities. Among the lots on offer this year are a curry meal for up to six people 'cooked in your own home' by SampleNinja founder Tariq Mirza, a full hospitality package for two at the Kia Oval cricket ground, a champagne afternoon tea for two at Fortnum & Mason, a ticket to ESOMAR 2023 Congress in Amsterdam, a three-course weekend brunch at Skylon for two people, and a bottle of House of Commons Speaker Bercow's single malt whisky.
