Synovate Appoints MD for Singapore
Synovate has appointed Miranda Cheung as MD of its Singapore office, reporting directly to the CEO of Asia Pacific, Tim Balbirnie. Cheung will also continue in her role as Director, Asia Pacific, with responsibility for global and regional business development.
According to Balbirnie, 'Singapore is a vital market for Synovate - a regional hub with global significance - and Miranda brings a great wealth of research and management experience to the role... where she will be ably supported by an excellent and well-established senior management team in Singapore'.
As Director, Asia Pacific, Ms Cheung has been instrumental in winning significant business
for Synovate. She has been with the company (formerly AMI) for 10 years and Balbirnie describes the appointment as 'the next logical step' in a career which has developed through media research, international research and business development across the region and the world.
Cheung will move to Singapore from her current base in Hong Kong on 1 January 2005.
