Verve Benelux Opens in Amsterdam
Verve, which focuses on culture, communities and 'smart digital research', has opened Verve Benelux in Amsterdam, led by Kirby Johnson and supported by Katrien Gunn, Sanne van der Steeg, and Saskia Racke.
The company, which is headquartered in London, also has offices in Manchester, Brighton, Chicago, Romania, South Africa, Toronto, and Australia. Its new Verve Benelux hub will service the global insight needs of multinational corporate clients headquartered or based in the region.
Johnson joins after three years Human8 (previously InSites Consulting) in Germany and The Netherlands, where she latterly served as Senior Research Manager. Before this, she was a Qualitative Consultant at Kantar in South Africa. In her new role, Johnson will lead the Amsterdam hub and focus on developing a number of existing accounts. She will be supported by Belgian native Katrien Gunn, who joined late last year after six years in a Director role as online community specialist Incling; Dutch native Sanne van der Steeg, who recently joined from Thinks Insight & Strategy (formerly Britain Thinks); and Luxembourg native Saskia Racke, who joined last year after a Master's degree in Neuroscience.
Commenting on news of the launch, founder and CEO Andrew Cooper said: 'Our holistic approach to insight, where smart tech such as Ignite AI alongside smart research approaches such as commercial semiotics, can create not only deeper insight, but can also provide clients with a blueprint for action. This plays well to the complex needs of multinational clients, of which many are headquartered in the Benelux region.'
