M3 Global Buys Healthcare Specialist Med Planet

Healthcare fieldwork specialist M3 Global Research has acquired Med Planet, which provides qual MR services to the healthcare industry. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Launched in 1997 by Maillou Enselme (pictured) and headquartered in Lyon, France, Med Planet covers all therapeutic areas through services such as focus groups; as well as message and concept testing using ethnography, in-depths and telephone depths, Gestalt and projective techniques, and wargames. The business offers translation of client documents by native French translators, as well as report and video reporting by native English or American report writers.

The deal follows M3 Global Research's 2022 acquisition of Germany's pharma-insight, which offers a portfolio of MR services to the life sciences industry, including access to a dedicated healthcare panel. In a statement, M3 said its latest acquisition further strengthens its European presence, which now includes physical locations in France, the UK, Germany and Sweden.

Med Planet now becomes part of M3 Global Research, which provides proprietary panels of verified healthcare professionals, covering 27 countries, as well as qual and quant methodologies.
