Shapiro+Raj Names Five Leaders
Brand and marketing insights company Shapiro+Raj has appointed Carrie McDowell as Director, Quant Operations; Adam Weil as Director, Life Sciences; Samantha DuBois as Director, Strategy; and Jaspal Singh as Director of People. Meanwhile Carol Tobler is promoted to Senor Director, Marcoms.
 Headquartered in Chicago, with additional offices in New York and Pune, India, Shapiro+Raj was formed in 2014 when business transformation specialist Zain Raj acquired a majority interest in independent MR firm Shapiro. The firm has integrated behavioral science principles with behavioral economic capabilities and says it has 'battle-tested' brand marketing experience to connect the dots between what consumers think, feel, say and do.
McDowell joins from 'insight-to-activation' marketing firm Brado, where she most recently served as Account Director, Client Engagement. Earlier she worked at Product Evaluations, and at Ipsos in roles including Director of the Innovation and Forecasting Group. Weil also joins from Brado, where he was Senior Director, Strategy after senior roles at SMI-Alcott, Discovery Communications and Maddock Douglas. DuBois previously spent nearly nine years at Hall & Partners, most recently serving as Strategy Director, having joined the company in 2014 as a Quantitative Research intern.
Singh joins after senior HR positions at Tripadvisor, Whatfix, AppDynamics and WGN-TVWGN; while Tobler joined a predecessor of the business nearly 40 years ago as an Account Director, and most recently served as Senior Director, Quantitative Operations.
