Category Management Firm Insite AI Names EVP Strategy

Insite AI, which develops software to help consumer brands optimize their in-store pricing, assortment, placement and forecasting, has appointed former Coca-Cola exec Capri Brixey as Executive Vice President, Strategy Consulting.

The US-based firm's platform enables clients to better understand and target their products and retail accounts, build the optimal product range and mix, and understand historical and current performance. Insite AI's elasticity modeling capabilities provide an understanding of how planned changes will impact sales, profitability and product availability. In addition, the platform generates predictive decisions on millions of products and stores, down to the level of individual SKU on a shelf in a single store location.

Brixey (pictured) joins from the Coca Cola Company, where she latterly served as VP of Sales and Customer Leadership, overseeing relationships with a portfolio of national retail sales customers. Before this she spent more than five years at Keurig Dr Pepper, managing the national Kroger warehouse direct portfolio, leading a team of national account executives; and she was Assistant Category Manager / Competitive Market Analyst at food retail group Delhaize.

In her new role, Brixey will use her brand and retailer experience to support and enable executives at consumer goods brands to counter issues such as efficiencies in category strategy and revenue management, as well as navigating macroeconomic effects, product affordability and availability.
