ClearSale Promotes for CEO Position
In Brazil, business intelligence provider ClearSale has promoted Eduardo Mônaco to the role of Chief Executive Officer, replacing Bernardo Lustosa who will continue his involvement with the firm as a shareholder and advisor.
ClearSale offers an eCommerce fraud protection solution, combining statistical technology with a team of specialized fraud analysts. The company's technology helps businesses prevent fraudulent chargebacks without interfering with the online shopping experience.
Mônaco (pictured) joined three years ago as COO, and more recently served as President-Director. He began his career with several Brazilian retailers and eCommerce companies, structuring departments and heading up projects that delivered elevated customer experiences.
The executive transition plan was developed last November, so that Lustosa could focus on more innovation-oriented projects, while Mônaco would be in charge of the company's day-to-day demands. Lustosa comments: 'I conclude my cycle as CEO in the company with great pride in the culture, values and team that we have built over the past years. I look forward to continuing on as a member of the ClearSale Board, with the full conviction that the company is in excellent hands'.
